On Saturday, January 11th, 2020, President Ishikawa gave a speech at the Nippon Institute of Technology MOT Graduate School.
He was invited as a guest lecturer on “Case studies of global management for small and medium-sized enterprises”.
The theme was “New business developments in wire netting and punching materials: In pursuit of original craftsmanship”.
He explained the management procedures he will use to try and further develop the business—established 95 years ago—based on the experience he has gained thus far.
He then discussed why wire netting specialists ISHIKAWA WIRE NETTING Co., Ltd chose to use their knowledge to take on the challenge of developing business-to-consumer goods. He revealed the secrets of how they developed Wire Mesh Origami [Fabric Metals ORIAMI]® which went from being a playful idea from one of the workers to winning the "10th TASK Monozukuri Prize”, and gaining worldwide attention.
The president gave a powerful speech in which attendees appeared to be engrossed.
