2019.05.15 Works created using Oriami will be displayed at Yoshiko INABA's exhibition in Venice, Italy.
From 05/09/2019 (Thu) until 05/31/2019 (Fri), Yoshiko INABA and Masaru KASHIWAGI will be holding the exhibition "NTRECCIO DI FILI - Sen no Youryoku - " in the Scala Mata Gallery in Venice.

Featured in the exhibition will be Ms. Inaba's works incorporating the material known as Wire Mesh Origami [Fabric Metals ORIAMI]®.

There will be an energetic presentation of works which capture the essence of natural forms such as leaves and branches through the combination of a variety of textiles, drawing from Ms. Inaba's experience working with stains and dyes after learning the art of design.

Here is one of the works utilizing Oriami.
A display of branches within a bed of wire mesh modeled after the form of leaves (20x20cm, width 10cm)
