ISHIKAWA WIRE NETTING Co.,Ltd was introduced in the section "Traditional copper technology and new ideas in Arakawa, a town of craftsmanship" as a company in Arakawa ward that makes crafts using copper.
They introduced the mesh using a copper alloy and the Wire Mesh Origami [Fabric Metals ORIAMI] produced by ISHIKAWA WIRE NETTING Co.,Ltd.
There are different types of the Wire Mesh Origami [Fabric Metals ORIAMI] that include copper such as red brass and pure copper, and they each have a different shine. In the magazine, it was described that through trial and error development, the hardness of the copper was eliminated in order to maintain paper-like tension with cloth-like flexibility.
